It cites Breitbart.com, but Breitbart didn't have any such story. There was a story at Breitbartt, though, with two Ts. One reader wasn't concerned whether it was fake. Hehehe.

Most of these stories aren't even new. The one from AmericanNews noted by Collins was published 19 hours ago, which is probably why it's the one that's trending right now.

The one at USANewsHome (banner title: USA Home News) is from Aug. 7.

The one from Observatorial (shared 115,000 times) is dated Oct. 4.

The one from TheCarsMagazine is dated Nov. 1 — a crucial, last-minute endorsement for Trump!

The site SupremePatriot isn't too subtle in its pitch: "WOW! Let’s share this EVERYWHERE in support of Denzel! This is a MAJOR shock for the liberal run Hollywood!”

How this whole thing started isn't clear, perhaps predictably. There was an article from thePoliticalInsider dated December that mentions Washington getting an award at the Golden Globes. It praises his long marriage and family life and says the actor "sets an example that Obama-voting liberals can’t stand.” Someone who shared the AmericanPoliticNews article credits this as the source, even though the article itself credits Breitbart.

There are debunks of the story, too, including one at Snopes.com. That debunking links back to the ANews24 story. One person shared the Snopes story while also disparaging Snopes as being "a huge liberal.”
