Love's Sweetness of Holstein won the Best in Show & Best in Class awards.

The North American Maple Syrup Council (NAMSC) handed out two awards to a local maple syrup producer.
Love's Sweetness won the Best in Show - Pure Maple Syrup award and Best in Class - Pure Maple Syrup with Rich Taste.
Ray Love, who has been producing maple syrup with his wife for more than 25 years, said the decision to enter the contest at the last minute.
He went on to say it was his son-in-law, Steve Plume, who came up with the idea to enter the NAMSC contest.
Plume handles the syrup making at the Holstein based facility.
Over 170 contestants entered and were judged based on taste, grade, colour and density.
